Corner whitening
The single most common reason a Lorcana card misses Gem Mint. The dark card backs show white at the corners the moment a card slips a sleeve, and it photographs subtle but grades loud.
Foil clouding on Enchanted cards
Enchanted and Iconic foils pick up clouding and micro scratches straight from the pack. Under a grading light they read as surface wear, and surface is where most pack-fresh-looking foils lose the 10.
Centering you cannot eyeball

Edge chips

Is Lorcana worth grading?+
