Printing, grade, and price.
Two photos, front and back. ZeroPop identifies the exact card and printing, Enchanted and Iconic included, grades its corners, edges, surface, and centering, and prices it at that condition from live market data. Scanner apps stop at the price; the grade is what your copy is actually worth.

The short answer
ZeroPop identifies a Lorcana card from two photos down to the exact printing, then grades the copy on corners, edges, surface, and centering and prices it at that condition. Single-game Lorcana scanner apps identify and price cards, but as of August 2026 none of them grade. The grade is the difference between what a card lists for and what your copy is worth.
How it works
Two photos, about a minute.
Photograph it
Front and back, from your phone or your laptop. Flat surface, even light, no glare across the foil.
It gets identified and graded
The scanner resolves the exact card, set, and printing, then scores corners, edges, surface, and centering the way a grading room scores them.
You get the real price
Live market data prices the exact printing you scanned, adjusted for the grade your copy actually earned, not a generic near mint number.
Reading the card
How to tell what Lorcana card you have.
Everything a Lorcana card is sits printed on the card. Here is what the scanner reads, and what to look for yourself.
The number names the set
The collector number and set code sit in the bottom left corner of every card. The scanner reads them and resolves the exact set, so two printings of the same character never get confused.
Enchanted cards are overnumbered
An Enchanted card's collector number sits above the printed set size, 223 out of 204 style. If the number is bigger than the set, you are holding the chase version.
Rarity marks and borderless tiers
Common through Legendary carry distinct rarity symbols; Enchanted and Iconic drop the border entirely for full art. The scanner keys on art, number, and finish together, so foils do not fool it.
Finish changes the price
The same card in a premium foil finish and standard finish can differ by an order of magnitude. Printing-exact identification is the whole game in pricing, and it is what the scanner is built to get right.
Scanner vs scanner
ZeroPop vs single-game Disney Lorcana apps.
| Feature | ZeroPop | Lorcana scanner apps |
|---|---|---|
| Identifies the exact printing | Yes | Yes |
| Live market price | Yes | Yes |
| Condition grade (corners, edges, surface, centering) | Yes, all four axes | No |
| Value at your copy's grade, not just near mint | Yes | No |
| Pre-grade before paying a PSA or CGC fee | Yes | No |
| Other games in the same app | Pokemon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, sports, and more | Lorcana only |
| Works in the browser, nothing to install | Yes, one free grade with no account | Rarely |
Every scanner app identifies cards and shows a price. The grade is the difference: a near mint price means nothing if your copy is not near mint, and a gem-worthy copy of a chase card is worth a multiple of the listed price. As of August 2026 no single-game scanner app returns a condition grade.

Questions
Scanning Disney Lorcana cards, answered.
What is the best app to scan Lorcana cards?+
Several single-game apps identify Lorcana cards and show a price, and they do that fine. ZeroPop is the scanner that also grades: every scan returns the exact printing, a four-axis condition grade, and the value at that grade, and the same app covers Pokemon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and sports cards. You can try it on one card free in the browser.
How do I find out what Lorcana card I have?+
Check the bottom left corner: the collector number and set code identify the card, and a number above the set size means an Enchanted printing. Or skip the detective work: photograph the front and back and the scanner resolves the exact card, set, and finish in seconds.
Does it recognize Enchanted and Iconic printings?+
Yes. Enchanted and Iconic cards are what the printing-exact identification exists for, because they are where the money is. The scanner reads the overnumbering, the borderless art, and the finish together, and prices the chase printing rather than the base card of the same name.
Can I scan my whole collection?+
Yes. A free account includes unlimited card identification plus 2 grading scans a month, with collection binders and cloud sync, and paid plans from $3.99 a month cover volume grading. The iOS and Android apps have a guided scanner built for going through a stack quickly.
Do I need to download anything?+
No. One card can be scanned and graded free in the browser with no account at zeropop.app/free-card-grading. The apps add the guided camera flow, portfolio tracking, and set checklists when you want them.
