Drops & ZP Points Program Rules

Last updated: August 18, 2026

About These Rules

These Program Rules (the "Rules") are the official rules of ZeroPop Drops and the ZP Points program (together, the "Program"). The Program is sponsored solely by Hanlon Digital LLC ("ZeroPop", "we", "us"). Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, the Program in any manner. Google is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, the Program in any manner.

These Rules are part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. The arbitration and class action waiver, limitation of liability, warranty disclaimer, indemnification, and governing law provisions of the Terms of Service apply fully to the Program, to ZP Points, and to any card or item you obtain through the Program. Where these Rules and the Terms of Service conflict about the Program, these Rules control.

No purchase is necessary to participate in the Program. No payment of any kind is accepted or required to earn Points, submit a claim, place a bid, or receive a card. No part of the Program is decided by chance. Fixed-price cards go to the first confirmed claim, and headline cards go to the highest bid. The Program is a promotional loyalty program, not a store, a sweepstakes, a raffle, a lottery, or a gambling product.

Eligibility

To claim a card or place a bid, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older, and confirm it in the app;
  • Have a ZeroPop account that is at least 14 days old and in good standing (accounts under an active device ban cannot participate);
  • Have a verified shipping address in the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, APO/FPO addresses, or international addresses.

One shipping address per account. Earning Points does not require any of the above; anyone using the app earns Points through activity. The eligibility requirements apply to spending them. Falsely attesting that you are 18 or older is a violation of these Rules; we may void claims, cancel shipments, and forfeit the Points of any account that misrepresents eligibility.

What ZP Points Are (and Are Not)

ZP Points ("Points") are a promotional reward you earn by using ZeroPop. Points are a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to request rewards under the Program, granted at our discretion. Points are not money and are not a substitute for money.

Points have no cash value and no monetary value. They are not your property, not currency, not stored value, not a gift card, not a deposit, and not an investment. Points cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, gifted, exchanged, assigned, inherited, or redeemed for cash, in whole or in part, ever. There is no way to buy Points with money or through in-app purchase, and we will never offer one under these Rules. Any attempt to sell, buy, or transfer Points, claims, bids, or an account is void and is grounds for forfeiture and account termination.

Points are distinct from bonus scan credits earned through the Earn Free Scans program. Scan credits are governed by our Subscription & Purchase Terms; Points are governed by these Rules. The two are separate and are never convertible into each other.

Earning Points

Points are earned only through activity in the app, at fixed published rates. As of the effective date of these Rules, the earn rates are:

  • Each card you grade: 4 Points on the Free plan, 5 on Lite, 6 on Pro, and 8 on Ultra, subject to a monthly cap per plan (currently 40 / 100 / 250 / 625) and a limit of one earn per unique card every 7 days;
  • First scan of the day: 5 Points; weekly quest: 20 Points; streak bonus: 20 Points every fifth consecutive day, together subject to a separate monthly bonus cap (currently 25 percent of your plan's monthly cap);
  • Referrals: 200 Points when a friend you refer grades their first card, up to 5 referrals per rolling 90 days;
  • A one-time welcome bonus (currently 25 Points) may be granted when enabled.

The earn screen in the app always shows the current rates and caps, which control if they differ from the figures above. Your total balance is capped (currently at 2,500 Points); earning at a cap is forfeited and the app tells you when that happens. Earn rates and caps can change prospectively as described in Changes to the Program below; changes never remove Points you have already earned.

Estimated Values Are Not a Price Promise

The app may show an estimated dollar value next to a card ("est. $12 value") or describe Points in approximate terms. These displays are convenience estimates only, based on our own market data, and can be wrong. We do not promise any exchange rate between Points and dollars, and no such rate exists. The Points price of every card is set by us, can change at any time before you claim, and does not obligate us to price any other card similarly. An estimated value is not a representation of what any card is worth or will be worth.

Point Expiry

Points expire if your account has no qualifying activity for 365 consecutive days. Qualifying activity means earning any Point or claiming any card, and any qualifying activity resets the full 365-day period for your entire balance. Points never expire based on the passage of time alone. We will notify you at least 30 days before Points are scheduled to expire, using the app and the contact details on your account. Points do not expire while you maintain an active Pro or Ultra subscription. Expired Points are forfeited and are not reinstated or compensated.

Claims (Fixed-Price Cards)

Fixed-price cards are allocated first come, first served. The first claim confirmed by our server wins. Our server clock and our server records are the sole and final record of the time and order of every claim and bid; device clocks and what your screen showed are not authoritative. A claim that loses the race costs nothing.

Claim limits, which we may adjust prospectively:

  • One claim per card;
  • Two claims per account per drop, and two per household (shipping address) per drop; settled bidding event wins count toward both;
  • A short cooldown after each claim (currently 2 minutes), and a longer cooldown (currently 28 days) after any claim of 200 Points or more;
  • Early access windows are a published benefit, not a right: watching an item at least an hour before its drop grants a short early claim window on that item (currently 5 minutes), and active Ultra subscribers receive the same early window automatically.

Once your claim is confirmed, the Points are spent. Spent Points are removed from circulation and are not refunded except as expressly stated in these Rules.

Bidding Events (Auctions)

Headline cards are allocated by a Points-only bidding event, shown in the app as an auction. Bidding events involve no money, no fees, and no chance. They work like this:

  • You set a maximum bid. The system bids on your behalf only what it takes to lead, in strict 1-Point increments, and never past your maximum (proxy bidding);
  • While you lead, your maximum is held from your balance. The moment you are outbid, the entire hold returns to your balance automatically and in full. A losing bid never costs anything;
  • If two maximum bids are equal, the bid our server recorded first wins. There are no random tie-breaks;
  • A bid landing in the final seconds briefly extends the close, so the event ends only when bidding truly stops. The extension is disclosed in the app when it happens;
  • When the event closes, the winner pays only the final clearing price; the difference between their maximum and that price is returned;
  • Some events carry a reserve. If the reserve is not met, no one wins, every hold is returned in full, and the card may be re-listed or offered at a fixed price;
  • Bids cannot be retracted. Your maximum bid is never shown to other participants.

We may grant a small fixed consolation of Points to bidders who win nothing in a drop. Consolations are discretionary, are currently limited to losing bidders (not lost claim races), and are not owed.

Shipping

Cards you claim are mailed to your verified address at no charge. Read this section before you claim, because the shipping method is part of the deal:

Cards ship by untracked United States Postal Service mail in a plain envelope with regular stamps. There is no tracking number, no delivery confirmation, no signature, and no insurance, and delivery cannot be verified by us or by you. By claiming or bidding you accept this shipping method and the risk that mail is occasionally lost, delayed, or damaged.

  • Mail goes out on a fixed weekly mail day (currently Monday). The app shows the real, server-computed date for every claim. Claims confirmed after the weekly cutoff, and bidding events that settle after it, go out on the following mail day;
  • Low-value cards (currently under $5 estimated value) are held and batched into one envelope per account per month so every claim can ship free;
  • Typical arrival is 3 to 7 days after mailing. That is an estimate, not a promise; postal service performance is outside our control;
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your shipping address. We validate addresses with the postal service when you save them, and we mail to the address on file at the time your envelope is packed. If a batch is already packed when you change your address, the change applies from the next batch, and the app tells you so;
  • An envelope returned or undeliverable because the address you provided was wrong or stale may be forfeited, or reshipped once at our option; Points are not reinstated for address errors.

Risk of Loss and Lost Mail

Cards provided through the Program are a promotional benefit provided at no cost. Your redemption of Points is not a purchase, and no sale occurs.

TITLE TO AND RISK OF LOSS OF EACH CARD PASS TO YOU WHEN WE DEPOSIT IT WITH THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. WE ARE NOT A CARRIER AND DO NOT INSURE MAIL.

If a card has not arrived 21 days after the date we mark it mailed, you may report non-delivery to support@zeropop.zendesk.com within 45 days of that date. Once per account per rolling 12 months, we will, as a courtesy and at our option, either ship a replacement card of comparable value or reinstate the Points you spent, after re-verifying your address.

THIS ONE-TIME COURTESY IS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY CARD THAT IS LOST, DELAYED, DAMAGED, OR MISDELIVERED IN THE MAIL. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE HAVE NO OTHER OBLIGATION AND NO LIABILITY OF ANY KIND FOR MAIL THAT DOES NOT ARRIVE, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH ANY CARD OR CLAIM UNDER THE PROGRAM WILL NOT EXCEED REINSTATEMENT OF THE POINTS SPENT ON IT. We may decline the courtesy where we reasonably suspect abuse, including repeated or implausible non-delivery reports.

Condition of Cards; No Warranty; No Returns

Except where a card is described as factory sealed, cards in the Program are raw, ungraded, previously owned trading cards from our own inventory. The photos shown on a listing are of the exact card that ships. Any grade or condition description shown is ZeroPop's own subjective, software-generated opinion, provided for information only. It is not a grade, certification, or authentication by PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, or any other third party, none of whom are affiliated with or endorse ZeroPop, and a third-party grader may assign a materially different grade or decline to grade the card.

EVERY CARD IS PROVIDED AS IS AND WITH ALL FAULTS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATION AS TO CONDITION, CENTERING, AUTHENTICITY, PRINT RUN, EDITION, VALUE, RESALE VALUE, OR FUTURE VALUE. We give no written warranty on any card. All claims are final: no returns, no exchanges, no substitutions, and no refunds, except as expressly stated in these Rules. If we ever determine a card we shipped may not be authentic, we may request its return, and our sole obligation is to reinstate your Points or ship a replacement.

Card names, characters, and artwork belong to their respective publishers. ZeroPop is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by The Pokemon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Disney, Bandai, Topps, Panini, or any other publisher; see our IP & DMCA Policy.

Voids, Errors, and Interruptions

We may cancel, void, postpone, restart, or extend any drop, listing, or bidding event, in whole or in part, at any time, including for a listing error (wrong card, set, grade, photo, or Points price), a technical error, suspected manipulation or automation, or unavailability of the item. If we void your confirmed claim or winning bid before it ships, the Points you spent are reinstated automatically and in full, and that reinstatement is your sole remedy for the void. A claim is not voided after its card has entered a shipment.

If a drop is interrupted by an outage on our side, claims already confirmed and bids already settled stand; we do not void completed outcomes because of our own downtime. Unclaimed items resume at an announced time.

Prohibited Conduct

In connection with the Program, you may not:

  • Use any bot, script, macro, emulator, modified or rooted device, automation tool, or other automated means to earn Points, submit claims, or place bids;
  • Maintain, register, or control more than one account, or coordinate accounts or households with others, to exceed Program limits or obtain additional Points, claims, or bids;
  • Earn Points through scans that do not depict a physical card in your possession (screenshots, printed images, images from the internet) or through repeated scanning intended to game earn rates;
  • Sell, buy, trade, transfer, or offer to transfer Points, claims, bids, accounts, or early access;
  • Misrepresent your age, identity, or shipping eligibility, or use an address that is not yours;
  • Submit false non-delivery reports or otherwise abuse the lost mail courtesy;
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any Program limit.

Enforcement, Revocation, and Forfeiture

Points are revocable. If we determine, in our sole but reasonable discretion, that an account has engaged in the prohibited conduct above, breached these Rules or the Terms of Service, obtained Points or cards through fraud, error, or exploitation of a bug, reversed or charged back a payment connected to the account, or misrepresented eligibility, we may, with or without notice: void any claim or bid; cancel any unshipped card; reverse, deduct, or forfeit Points, including Points already earned; suspend or terminate the account's access to the Program or to ZeroPop; and refuse to ship. We may use automated systems, device signals, server timing, and behavioral analysis to detect prohibited conduct, and our determination is final, subject to the dispute resolution provisions of the Terms of Service.

Points granted in error (including technical errors and mispriced grants) may be corrected. If your account is deleted by you or terminated by us, any Points balance is forfeited at that moment with no compensation, and unshipped claims may be cancelled. Points have no cash value in every one of these cases.

Taxes

You are solely responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes that may apply to cards you receive, other than taxes on our income. If the aggregate fair market value of cards you receive in a calendar year meets or exceeds an applicable IRS reporting threshold, we may require a completed IRS Form W-9 before shipping further cards, and we may issue an information return such as Form 1099-MISC. We determine fair market value reasonably and our determination is final. Today we do not collect taxpayer identification numbers, and we structure the Program to keep it that way.

Changes to the Program

We may change the Program. Different kinds of change carry different notice, and no change is retroactive:

  • Catalog and operations: which cards appear, their Points prices, drop scheduling, availability, listing corrections, and fraud enforcement change without notice and take effect when posted;
  • Program rules: changes to earn rates, caps, expiry, eligibility, claim or bidding mechanics, or these Rules take effect no sooner than 30 days after we notify you in the app and post the updated Rules with a new date;
  • No retroactive devaluation: a change never removes Points you have already earned, and we will not increase the Points price of a card for a claim or bid you have already submitted that is still pending.

If you do not agree to a change, your remedy is to stop participating in the Program; you may spend your existing Points under the rules in effect before the change during the notice period.

Ending the Program

We may suspend or end the Program, or any part of it, at any time. If we end the Program, we will give at least 90 days notice in the app, during which Points remain redeemable against the available catalog. When the Program ends, all unredeemed Points expire and are forfeited. Points have no cash value, and no cash, credit, or other compensation is owed for expired, forfeited, or unredeemed Points, at wind-down or at any other time.

Cash Purchases (Not Currently Offered)

The Program currently involves no payments of any kind. We may in the future offer certain inventory for direct cash purchase outside the Points program, processed by a third-party payment processor outside of any app store purchase system. If we do, those sales will be governed by purchase terms published at that time; nothing about cash purchases will change the nature of Points, which will remain earned-only, never purchasable, and without cash value. Points and money will never be combinable as payment for a single item.

Disputes, Liability, and Governing Law

Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Program, Points, a claim, a bidding event, or a shipped card is subject to the binding individual arbitration provision, class action waiver, small claims exception, 30-day arbitration opt-out, limitation of liability, and New York governing law clause in our Terms of Service, which apply to these Rules as if set out in full here. Nothing in these Rules limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. If any part of these Rules is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
