Disney Lorcana Wilds Unknown: The 8 Chase Cards, Ranked
Disney Lorcana's 12th set, Wilds Unknown, pre-released on May 8, 2026 and hit wide retail on May 15, put Pixar characters in the ink pool for the first time, and its two Iconic pulls turned into the most valuable cards the game has ever printed. Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Brave all joined Lorcana's cast in the same set, and three months later the chase list has settled into a real hierarchy backed by actual sales instead of launch week hype. Here are the 8 cards everybody wanted from Wilds Unknown, and which ones we think actually hold a PSA 10.
What Makes This Set Different
Wilds Unknown is Set 12, arriving between Archazia's Island and Attack of the Vine, and it did something no Lorcana set had done before: it broke the game out of its original Disney animation library and pulled in Pixar. Woody and Buzz Lightyear lead a Toy Story wing, the entire Parr family arrives from The Incredibles, and Merida crosses over from Brave, all treated as first-time "glimmers" the same way any classic Disney character debuts in the game.
The Enchanted tier got its own visual overhaul to match the occasion. Wilds Unknown's 18 Enchanteds ship in a hand drawn treatment the game calls Lore Nouveau, an Art Nouveau style with dense linework that looks nothing like the painterly Enchanteds from earlier sets. It is a genuinely new look for the game's classic chase tier, and it is also part of why some of these cards grade harder than their older counterparts, more on that below.
The Iconic tier is where the real story is. Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Ranger and Merida, Formidable Archer are only the third pair of Iconics the game has ever printed, and both immediately became blue chip Lorcana chases. Set-opening hype cools fast in this game, as our Attack of the Vine countdown documented with a card that dropped 45 percent in a week. Three months on, Wilds Unknown's Iconics have done the opposite: they have kept climbing.
The Rarity Ladder, Quick Refresher
Lorcana runs eight rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Legendary, Epic, Enchanted, and Iconic. Enchanted cards are full art alternates pulling at roughly 1 in 100 packs, the classic chase since the game's earliest sets. Epic and Iconic arrived later as a ceiling above Enchanted, with Iconic capped at just two cards per set and carrying a specialized foil and 3D hot stamp. Wilds Unknown ships 204 numbered cards plus a secret range above that holding 18 Epic, 18 Enchanted, and the 2 Iconic cards, for a full 242 card checklist. Our Disney Lorcana sets release calendar has the complete rarity history if you want to see how the ladder evolved set by set.
Every booster pack runs 12 cards with one guaranteed foil at a random rarity, so any pack can hit Epic, Enchanted, or Iconic. A booster box carries an MSRP of about $144 for 24 packs, the number to run through the math in is my card worth grading before you commit to a case on Iconic odds alone.
The 8 Cards Everybody Wants
8. Kida, Crystal Scion
Why everybody wants it. Kida is Atlantis's first real Lorcana spotlight, and Wilds Unknown gave her the Lore Nouveau treatment at a moment when Atlantis nostalgia has been building across collector circles generally, not just in this game.
The grade that matters. Surface. The Lore Nouveau linework sits directly on the card's foil field, and print line visibility on that dense hand drawn art is the single biggest reason this treatment reads harder for a 10 than the painterly Enchanteds from earlier sets.
Price check. Kida, Crystal Scion trades around $80 raw, the entry point on this list and the cheapest way onto a Wilds Unknown Enchanted shelf.
7. Milo Thatch, Getting His Hands Dirty
Why everybody wants it. Milo pairs with Kida as Atlantis's other new Enchanted, completing a small but dedicated sub theme inside a set that is otherwise all Pixar. Collectors chasing a complete Atlantis pair have kept steady demand on both cards since release.
The grade that matters. Centering. Milo's card runs detailed linework close to the border on all four sides, and the Lore Nouveau style leaves less room for print drift before centering fails than a simpler full bleed card would.
Price check. Milo Thatch, Getting His Hands Dirty sits around $97, just ahead of Kida and still one of the more accessible Enchanteds in the set.
6. Syndrome, Out for Revenge
Why everybody wants it. The Incredibles' villain gets the first real Lorcana treatment of a Pixar antagonist, and villain collectors have historically paid a premium for a well drawn foe across every set this game has printed.
The grade that matters. Surface, on Syndrome's dark background. Black and near black art shows every print line and handling mark faster than a light colored card, the same reason dark backed Enchanteds and Iconics run lower PSA 10 rates across every game we grade, Lorcana included. For how that plays out across the three major graders, see our PSA vs BGS vs CGC breakdown.
Price check. Syndrome, Out for Revenge runs around $115, a real step up from the Atlantis pair and proof that villain demand travels even in a set built around heroes.

5. Jack-Jack Parr, Incredible Potential
Why everybody wants it. The Incredibles' baby gets a standout Enchanted built around his shapeshifting chaos, and the card leans into the character's comic relief moments rather than a generic hero pose, which collectors have singled out as the set's most fun Incredibles pull.
The grade that matters. Corners. This is a heavily inkable, frequently played card in Constructed circles, and Enchanted foil whitens at the corners faster than most collectors expect once a copy has actually seen a sleeve and a shuffle.
Price check. Jack-Jack Parr, Incredible Potential trades around $150, the clearest example on this list of a card that plays as well as it collects.
4. Jessie, Lively Cowgirl
Why everybody wants it. Toy Story's other headline character next to Buzz and Woody, and the Enchanted collectors have gravitated to for a solo Jessie chase outside the set's big ensemble card below her.
The grade that matters. Edges. Jessie's card runs a busy, warm toned background edge to edge with no clean border to hide behind, so edge chipping and cut variance show up faster than on a simpler composition.
Price check. Jessie, Lively Cowgirl has settled around $230, comfortably the priciest single character Enchanted in the set outside the two Iconics.
3. You've Got a Friend in Me
Why everybody wants it. The set's Toy Story ensemble card, and the closest thing Wilds Unknown has to a mascot moment for the whole Pixar debut. A song title card carrying the full cast is exactly the kind of nostalgia play that outsells cards with objectively rarer pull rates.
The grade that matters. Centering. Full cast art packed edge to edge leaves almost no margin for print drift, and a card this recognizable draws close scrutiny from buyers before they will pay top dollar for a raw copy, let alone a graded one.
Price check. You've Got a Friend in Me trades around $425, the clear top Enchanted in the set and closing in on Iconic territory.
2. Merida, Formidable Archer
Why everybody wants it. One of only two Iconic pulls in the entire set, and Brave's first real Lorcana spotlight. Iconic cards carry a specialized foil and 3D hot stamp exclusive to the tier, the rarest treatment the game prints, at an estimated 1 in 1,500 to 2,000 packs.
The grade that matters. Surface, on the Iconic foil and hot stamp itself. That finish is still building a graded population, so nobody has enough data yet to say exactly how it behaves under a loupe over time. Scan it before you submit.
Price check. Merida, Formidable Archer trades around $1,300 to $1,700 raw, and PSA 10 copies have sold for roughly $11,000, a graded premium of nearly 7x that shows exactly why Iconic pulls are worth scanning the moment they leave the pack.
1. Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Ranger
Why everybody wants it. By seller consensus, this is the single most valuable card Disney Lorcana has ever printed, full stop. Buzz anchors Pixar's entire Lorcana debut, sits in the same 1 in 1,500 to 2,000 pack Iconic slot as Merida, and has only kept climbing since release while most set-opening chases cool off.
The grade that matters. Corners and centering together. The Iconic frame runs a hard visual border close to the art, the same design choice that made Attack of the Vine's Iconic pulls unforgiving on both axes, so a soft corner or a hair of drift caps the grade even on an otherwise clean copy.
Price check. Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Ranger trades around $2,699 to $3,500 raw, and a PSA 10 copy has sold for roughly $16,000. At current raw prices that graded copy is worth more than five times the ungraded card, the single best argument on this list for scanning before you submit rather than after.
The ZeroPop Verdict: What to Grade, What to Sell Raw
The two Iconics, Buzz Lightyear and Merida, are the clearest grade candidates in the set by a wide margin. Iconic pull rates are the tightest Lorcana has, populations will stay small for years, and the graded premium on both cards, roughly 6x to 7x the raw price, already covers a grading fee many times over even accounting for the risk of missing a 10. You've Got a Friend in Me is next, a proven top Enchanted with real trading volume and enough raw value on its own to make a confirmed gem worth the submission.
Jessie, Jack-Jack Parr, and Syndrome sit in the middle. All three are genuine chases with real comps behind them, but the math is tighter, run each one through is my card worth grading against current comps rather than a number a seller quoted last month. Kida and Milo Thatch lean toward sell raw for most copies, desirable Atlantis pulls, but at $80 to $100 raw a grading fee eats too much upside unless you already hold a confirmed gem.
Scan every Wilds Unknown pull through ZeroPop the moment it comes out of the pack, especially the Iconics. Our four sub grades flag the exact risk called out for each card above, corners and centering on the Iconics, surface on the dark and Lore Nouveau backgrounds, so you know whether you are holding a submission or a sell-raw copy before you spend a dime on a grading fee. Frequently Asked Questions
When did Disney Lorcana Wilds Unknown release?
Wilds Unknown had its local game store prerelease on May 8, 2026, and its wide retail release on May 15, 2026. It is Set 12, following Archazia's Island and preceding Attack of the Vine.
What are the two Iconic cards in Wilds Unknown?
The two Iconics, the rarest tier at two per set, are Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Ranger and Merida, Formidable Archer. Both carry a specialized foil and 3D hot stamp unique to the Iconic tier, and both have become the most valuable cards Lorcana has printed to date.
Why is Wilds Unknown a big deal for Disney Lorcana?
It is the first Lorcana set to bring Pixar characters into the game, adding Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Brave to a roster that had previously been built entirely from classic Disney animation. That crossover, plus two record setting Iconic pulls, is why the set has held value three months after release instead of cooling off the way most launch hype does.
Is Wilds Unknown worth grading?
The two Iconics are worth a submission on the strength of their graded premium alone, both trading at roughly 6x to 7x their raw price once PSA 10. The top Enchanteds, especially You've Got a Friend in Me, are worth it if your scan supports a clean grade. Lower value Enchanteds like Kida and Milo Thatch rarely clear the break even math on a grading fee at current raw prices.
What is Lore Nouveau?
Lore Nouveau is the hand drawn Art Nouveau art treatment Wilds Unknown gave its 18 Enchanted cards, a visual departure from the painterly Enchanteds of earlier sets. The dense linework looks distinct, but it also shows print lines more readily on close inspection, which is why surface is the axis to watch on most Lore Nouveau pulls.
How rare are the Iconic cards in Wilds Unknown?
Iconic cards are estimated to appear at roughly 1 in 1,500 to 2,000 packs, making them significantly harder to pull than an Enchanted at around 1 in 100. Only two exist per set, and Wilds Unknown's pair has already become the benchmark for how high an Iconic's value can climb after release.
