Disney Lorcana Fabled Set Guide: Enchanted, Epic, and the First Iconics
Disney Lorcana Fabled released August 29, 2025 as Set 9 in the series, and the rarity ladder has looked different in every set since. Before Fabled, Enchanted was the ceiling. Fabled added Epic (18 cards per set, rainbow foil) and Iconic (2 cards per set, specialized foil with a 3D hot stamp) above it, and both tiers are now permanent fixtures across every release. The set also gave A Goofy Movie its first Lorcana representation across 8 cards spanning Enchanted and Epic. One year on, Max Goof Chart Topper Enchanted is the only Fabled card with a published price in our catalog: $236.62 as of September 19, 2026.
What Changed: Epic and Iconic Above Enchanted
Fabled added two new tiers in a single set. Before August 29, 2025, the top of the ladder was Enchanted: full art foil, roughly 1 in 100 packs, one or two per 24-pack booster box (MSRP $144). Fabled kept that tier and added two above it.
Epic cards sit in collector numbers 205 through 222, 18 of them in Fabled's 253-card set. The finish is a rainbow foil that reads differently from a standard Enchanted foil under lighting: more prismatic, more likely to show micro-scratches from handling, and with a less documented behavior under long-term storage. Pull odds for Epic haven't been published by Ravensburger, but they appear comparable to or slightly worse than Enchanted based on open-box data from the release period.
Iconic cards are at 241 and 242, two per set, and those pull odds are the tightest in the product. The finish adds a 3D hot stamp to the foil. In every set since Fabled, the two Iconic cards have been the most valuable in the product. Their pop count stays small by construction.
A Goofy Movie at Numbers 230 and 233
Max Goof Chart Topper (#230, Enchanted, Emerald ink) and Powerline World's Greatest Rock Star (#233, Enchanted, Ruby ink) are the top cards from A Goofy Movie's Lorcana debut. The franchise had zero Lorcana cards through Sets 1 through 8. Fabled gave it four: the two Enchanteds above, plus the Enchanted song I2I (#234) and Stand Out in the Epic tier (#213).
Max Goof at $236.62 sits above the Enchanted baseline for comparably aged sets. For reference, Syndrome Enchanted from Wilds Unknown (Set 12, May 2026) trades at $112.42 in our catalog, and Jack-Jack Parr Enchanted from the same set is $102.92. The A Goofy Movie nostalgia premium, landing in a franchise with a strong adult collector base that had been waiting for eight sets, has held for a year. That gap is $124, not a rounding error.
The grading risk is surface and centering. Max Goof's background is a densely detailed crowd and stage composition. Under magnification, print lines read clearly on any copy that isn't a clean PSA 10 candidate. The Emerald foil field shows edge chipping first at the borders. Scan it through ZeroPop before committing. A card that looks clean to the eye on this illustration often has a surface issue that a loupe confirms before a submission fee doesn't.
Mickey and Minnie: Numbers 241 and 242
Mickey Mouse Brave Little Prince (#242, Ruby ink) and Minnie Mouse Sweetheart Princess (#241, Amber ink) are the two Iconic cards in Fabled, and the first Iconic cards ever printed in Disney Lorcana. Neither has a published price in our catalog yet.
Merida Formidable Archer from Wilds Unknown, a later Iconic from a newer set, trades at $1,844.18 in our catalog as of September 19, 2026. Merida benefits from the Brave IP and strong early demand. Mickey and Minnie carry a different value case: first-print scarcity in a game where the Iconic tier was brand new. Whether that competes with a newer set's Iconic trading on active demand is something the graded population still needs to answer.
No published catalog price means no confirmed grade premium exists for either card. The submission case is still conditional yes for a gem condition copy. Iconic populations stay small by design, and a PSA 10 or CGC 10 of the first Iconics in the game carries a provenance angle later Iconics won't have. The honest call: scan it, get the sub-grades, and only submit on a strong reading. The fee is real; the payoff is speculative until sold comps appear.

The 18 Enchanted Cards Beyond Goofy
Fabled's Enchanted tier runs Pongo (#223, Amber) through Jasmine (#240) across all six ink colors. The franchise lineup: Beast Gracious Prince (#224, Amber), Belle Accomplished Mystic (#226, Amethyst), Winnie the Pooh Hunny Wizard (#227, Amethyst), Dumbo (#228, Amethyst), Genie of the Lamp (#229, Emerald), Mickey Mouse Steamboat Pilot (#231, Emerald), Ariel Adventurous Collector (#232, Ruby), Powerline (#233, Ruby), I2I (#234, Ruby), Mulan (#235, Sapphire), Cruella De Vil Style Icon (#236, Sapphire), Hades Infernal Schemer (#237, Sapphire), Lilo Best Explorer Ever (#238, Steel), Scar Finally King (#239, Steel).
Beyond Max Goof and Powerline, none of those has a published price in our catalog. One year post-release, a Fabled Enchanted with no community scans is one of two things: an early mover position on a card that hasn't been graded yet, or confirmation that collector demand hasn't followed through. The live community grid below shows what's been scanned by our users. Belle, Genie, Ariel, and Hades from established franchises are the ones most likely to see scan activity first.
Grading risk varies by card. Hades on a dark background runs the same problem as every dark-field Lorcana Enchanted: near-black art shows handling marks under any light, and PSA 10 rates on dark-background Lorcana cards run below average. Ariel and Belle on lighter backgrounds are comparatively forgiving. Surface is the primary axis on all 18.
Skip the Epics for Now
The 18 Epic cards, numbers 205 through 222, are the clearest skip in this set as of September 2026.
No Fabled Epic has a published price in our catalog. There is no PSA or CGC graded population data for the Epic tier from Fabled that would let you size a grade premium. The lineup includes Elsa Snow Queen (#210, Amethyst), Anna Braving the Storm (#218, Sapphire), Ursula Sea Witch (#208, Amethyst), Kuzco Wanted Llama (#209, Amethyst), Robin Hood Capable Fighter (#220, Steel), and 13 more across all six inks. Desirable cards on a pull rate that isn't trivial. But desirability doesn't create a grade premium on its own: a confirmed sold price for a graded copy does, and that price doesn't exist yet.
The rainbow foil behavior under long-term storage is also an open question. Enchanted foil has years of graded population data behind it. Epic rainbow foil from Fabled is a year old, and the grading behavior (how surface marks accumulate, how the prismatic layer holds) hasn't been documented through enough graded examples to generalize. Hold raw. Come back to Fabled Epics when a comp exists.
Grading Verdict
Iconic cards, conditionally yes. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are the first in a tier that will always have small populations. A verified gem condition scan from ZeroPop is the gate. Submit on strong sub-grades; don't submit on hope.
Max Goof Enchanted at $236.62 supports a submission at current grading fees for premium-tier service. Most other Fabled Enchanteds are conditional: no price data means no confirmed break-even math. Scan first, check the live community grid for comparables, and run the math through is my card worth grading before paying a fee.
Epic tier: pass until there is a sold comp to price against. The ZeroPop grader rankings guide covers which service to use when you do submit.
Frequently Asked Questions
When did Disney Lorcana Fabled release?
August 29, 2025, as Set 9 in the Disney Lorcana series. It followed Reign of Jafar (Set 8, May 30, 2025) and was followed by Whispers in the Well (Set 10, November 7, 2025). The full release order is in the Disney Lorcana sets release calendar.
What new rarities did Fabled introduce?
Two: Epic and Iconic. Epic cards (numbers 205 through 222 in Fabled) carry a rainbow foil finish and pull at a tighter rate than Enchanted. Iconic cards (numbers 241 and 242) carry a specialized foil with a 3D hot stamp and are the hardest pull in the product. Both tiers appear in every Lorcana set since Fabled.
What is Max Goof Enchanted worth from Fabled?
$236.62 in our catalog as of September 19, 2026. Max Goof Chart Topper (#230, Emerald Enchanted) is the only Fabled Enchanted with a published price. The A Goofy Movie nostalgia premium has held a year post-release, running $124 above comparable Enchanted cards from the newer Wilds Unknown set.
Are the Mickey and Minnie Iconic cards worth grading?
Conditionally yes. Neither has a published catalog price, so the grade premium is unconfirmed. But they are the first Iconic cards in the history of Disney Lorcana, and graded populations will stay small. Submit only on a strong ZeroPop scan showing gem-quality sub-grades. Merida Iconic from the newer Wilds Unknown set is at $1,844.18 as a ceiling reference for what a desirable Iconic can hold.
Why skip Fabled Epic cards for grading?
No published price exists for any Fabled Epic in our catalog, and no graded population data is available to benchmark a premium for the tier. The rainbow foil is also newer than Enchanted foil, and its long-term grading behavior isn't well documented. Hold raw until a sold comp for a graded Fabled Epic provides a number to work from.
How many Enchanted cards are in Fabled?
18, at collector numbers 223 through 240. They span all six Lorcana ink colors and include Belle, Genie, Ariel, Max Goof, Powerline, Mulan, Cruella De Vil, Hades, Scar, Lilo, Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Pongo, Beast, Ariel, and two Enchanted songs from A Goofy Movie.
