June: The Tins and World Championship Decks

Three products landed June 5. The 2025 Pokemon TCG World Championships Decks reproduce the exact builds from the Worlds competitive field. Lumiose City Mini Tins feature five Pokemon across Salamence, Meganium, Emboar, Feraligatr, and Gallade. Mega Moonlit Tins contain Mega Greninja ex and Mega Clefable ex and are the easiest way to pick up both cards without a box pull.

Grading angle: Tin promos often come with light print lines across the face from tray packaging. Check the surface before sleeving. The Mega Greninja ex tin promo is the higher-demand target if centering is clean.

June: First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2

Johto, Unova, and Galar starters got the full-art treatment in this June 19 release. Earlier waves in the Illustration Collection line covered other regional starters, and Series 2 closes out three more regional rosters for collectors working through every starter line. This product is now on shelves.

These collections are lower-variance than a booster box pull. You know what cards are inside. The grading question is whether your copy comes out of the packaging with clean corners and surface. Illustration Collection products historically ship in a protective sleeve over the card, but check all four corners before sleeving for long-term storage. Among the Johto trio, Feraligatr usually carries the strongest raw demand, so prioritize a clean copy there.

July: Mega Evolution Pitch Black

July 17 brought the 130-card fifth entry in the Mega Evolution sub-brand. Mega Darkrai ex headlined the chase roster alongside Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex, and Mega Excadrill ex. The silver foil Mega ex frame defines the sub-brand's grading risk, now with a full print run on shelves to read from.

Pitch Black continues the silver foil Mega ex frame established across the sub-brand, which means the same five-axis grading check applies from the first pack. Corner micro-chips on the silver ring, centering measured to the foil boundary rather than the card edge, and surface inspection at multiple angles for the textured Special Illustration Rare tier. Grading angle: Pre-release events are the earliest signal on print quality for the run. If the first 100 community scans on ZeroPop show average corner grades below 8.5, the production run is running soft and PSA 10 hit rates will be lower than the Ascended Heroes baseline. August: First Partner Illustration Collection Series 3

The Hoenn, Kalos, and Paldea starters completed the regional starter cycle on August 7. Full-art treatments of Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly are all on shelves now.

Grading angle: The Paldea starters are the most recent generation and carry the freshest demand among the younger collector base. The Paldea final forms should see steady interest if the full-art treatments land as cleanly as the earlier series. Sleeve immediately after opening; these collections get handled more than booster packs and the corners show it.

September: The Worldwide 30th Celebration

Two major releases landed in September. The 30th Celebration is now on shelves, and ME06 has its confirmed English date: November 6.

30th Celebration (Released September 16)

September 16 is the confirmed date for the Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration set, and the framing around it is different from anything The Pokemon Company has done before. This is the first ever simultaneous worldwide TCG launch, meaning every region opens product on the same day. Around 150 cards after secret rares are included, every pack is all-foil, and a new rarity class called "Futuristic Rare" appears for the first time.

Every pack guarantees one of 30 different Pikachu cards, which is a structural guarantee the TCG has never shipped before. A Base Set Charizard reprint is included in the Classic Collection portion, which will carry the highest immediate secondary market demand. The all-foil treatment changes the grading math compared to a standard set. Every card in every pack has a foil surface, which means every card is subject to the foil scratch and refraction issues that push cards below Gem Mint on PSA. November: Delta Reign (ME06, Confirmed)

ME06 lands November 6, 2026 in English. Japan has had Storm Emeralda since July 31, giving collectors over three months of early grading data before English packs open. The set runs 210 cards, led by Mega Rayquaza ex with a Hoenn theme and the new split Stadium mechanic.

Grading window: the Japan-to-English gap already built several months of Japanese community grading data before English packs open. Early Japanese graded examples signal which cards in the set are hit-or-miss on surface and centering, so you can calibrate your submission list before you pull a single English pack. Skip the pre-order box secondary market if it runs above MSRP. The gap between the Japanese July release and the November English launch is long enough that box supply will be normal at launch, unlike a set with a two-week Japan-to-English window.

Grading angle: Delta Reign is the only confirmed Q4 expansion. Submit 30th Celebration chase cards in October to let that PSA queue move before November pull volumes land. Two separate submission batches in a 90-day window will perform better than one large batch with both sets mixed.

Q4 2026: What Is Confirmed

Delta Reign on November 6 is the one confirmed Q4 full expansion. As of late September 2026, no additional Q4 full expansions have been announced.

Holiday tins and collector bundles typically land in October and November based on prior-year cadences. Those products are not yet announced, and no confirmed dates exist. Do not pre-buy sealed product based on past-year patterns alone.

How to Work This Calendar as a Grader

A release calendar is only useful if you work it systematically. The same four-step framework applies to every set below.

Buy at MSRP or skip. The grading math works when your cost basis is MSRP. Any scalped box eliminates the margin. For Delta Reign, MSRP pre-orders are worth placing now that the November 6 date is confirmed. Skip secondary-market boxes above MSRP; the Japan-to-English gap is long enough that supply will be healthy at launch.

The grading window opens at release. PSA population counts are lowest in the first four to six weeks after a set hits shelves. Cards graded in that window land in a low-pop population report, which supports higher PSA 10 premiums relative to raw. Waiting for month four means grading into a larger population. For the 30th Celebration specifically, the simultaneous worldwide launch will grow the population faster than a US-only release, so the effective window will be shorter.

Scan before you pay the submission fee. Run every pull through ZeroPop to predict the grade across all four sub-grades (corners, edges, surface, centering) before deciding whether to submit.
