One Piece TCG: Every English Booster Set in Release Order

Romance Dawn launched December 2, 2022 and One Piece Card Game has reached 17 main booster sets in under four years. Set sizes grew from 156 cards to over 200, pack MSRP climbed from $4.49 to $4.99, and the grading value is concentrated in a handful of eras. Monkey D. Luffy (119 Manga alt) from OP-05 trades at $5,700 in our catalog as of September 18, 2026. Gol D. Roger (Manga) from OP-09 is at $5,500. The sets in between are a different story.

This calendar lists every confirmed English booster in release-date order. Dates are from the official One Piece Card Game website and our catalog, both fetched September 18, 2026. Prices are from our catalog, same date.

How the Release Schedule Works

Bandai ships the Japanese set first and the English version follows roughly three to four months later. The result is a quarterly English cadence, though the gaps have run anywhere from 10 to 16 weeks between sets.

OP-01 through OP-09 held near 154 to 162 cards per set. Starting with OP-13, the card count jumped: Carrying On His Will runs 177, The Azure Sea's Seven runs 211, Adventure on Kami's Island runs 206. The expanded sets include more SP slots and alternate art treatments, which is why the SP tier became the primary grading target from 2025 onward.

Pack MSRP is $4.49 for OP-01 through OP-09 and $4.99 from OP-10 onward. Standard booster box: 24 packs.

The Three Rarity Tiers That Matter for Grading

Secret Rare (SEC) is the top standard pull, an alternate full-art Leader card with a glossy foil treatment. Roughly 1 in 12 packs. The most valuable SECs are in OP-02 and OP-05 by a wide margin; later sets have not produced SECs that match them.

Manga Rare arrived in OP-05 and exists in a handful of sets since. Two or three per set: manga-panel-style cards depicting pivotal story moments rather than standard card art. Every catalog value above $1,000 in OPCG belongs to a Manga Rare. They are harder to grade than standard SECs because the panel-style surface shows print lines under a grading lamp that full-color art hides.

SP (Special) cards emerged as inserts in OP-11 and later sets. Bandai draws them from the Premium Booster pool: existing cards reprinted in a special finish and packed at low frequency alongside the standard set. The top SP in current sets runs above $900 in our catalog.

Romance Dawn OP-01 December 2, 2022 156

Nami (OP01-016 alt art) is the catalog's top confirmed price at $219.15. No Manga Rare in this set. The alternate art Luffys in our catalog show $0 prices, meaning no active sales recorded, not necessarily worthless, but thin liquidity. Grading case is narrow; the Nami is the only clear submission at current prices.

Paramount War OP-02 March 10, 2023 156

Kingdoms of Intrigue OP-04 September 22, 2023 158
Awakening of the New Era OP-05 December 8, 2023 157

OP-02 is where grading turns serious. Portgas D. Ace (Manga alt art, OP02-013) runs $2,200 in our catalog. Ace is one of the game's earliest blue-chip chases and the Manga Rare treatment anchors the value.

OP-03 and OP-04 are not grading sets. OP-03's highest catalog price is Luffy (OP03-070) at $3.59. OP-04 has no active-priced cards in our catalog at all. Skip both for submissions unless you can confirm a specific raw price above $100 before committing to a fee.

OP-05 is the most valuable set by total catalog value. Luffy 119 Manga at $5,700 and Enel (098 alt art) at $35.59 are the top two confirmed prices. Luffy 119 is one of the hardest grades in the game: the manga panel surface shows print lines that standard card art hides, and centering on the panel-heavy layout is unforgiving under a loupe.

Wings of the Captain OP-06 March 15, 2024 n/a

Two Legends OP-08 September 13, 2024 154
Emperors in the New World OP-09 December 13, 2024 162

OP-06 tops out at Perona (021 alt art) at $54.87 and Shanks (alt art) at $20.21. A confirmed PSA 10 Perona might clear a fee at current prices. Shanks does not.

OP-07 and OP-08 are middling. OP-07's highest cataloged price is Luffy (109 Parallel) at $47.42. OP-08's is Tony Tony Chopper (001 Parallel) at $86.89. Neither set has produced a Manga Rare that matches the OP-02 and OP-05 benchmarks, and the submission math on a $47 card does not work.

OP-09 is the best current grading set. Gol D. Roger Manga (OP09-118) at $5,500 and Shanks 004 Manga (OP09-004) at $1,795 make OP-09 the clearest recent target. The Roger Manga carries the same surface risk as OP-05 Luffy 119: panel-style art on a dense composition where print lines are visible at grade. A confirmed PSA 10 is the goal; a PSA 9 on either card still carries four-figure value.

Legacy of the Master OP-12 August 22, 2025 n/a
Carrying On His Will OP-13 November 7, 2025 177

OP-10 Royal Blood has Trafalgar Law as its Manga Rare anchor. Law (119 Manga, OP10-119) sits at $707.10 in our catalog, with Sugar (003 Parallel) at $14.09. Law Manga is a grading candidate: the price clears a submission fee with margin, provided the scan holds.

OP-11 A Fist of Divine Speed bundles SP inserts drawn from the Premium Booster pool alongside the standard set. Luffy-Tarou (ST18-005 SP) at $315.92 and Shanks (ST16-004 SP) at $197.69 are the top SP pulls. Both are midrange submissions: the math works if the grade lands, thin if it misses.

OP-12 Legacy of the Master has one cataloged card with a confirmed price: Slam Gibson (OP12-117) at $0.16. This is a data gap in our catalog, not a verdict on the set, but we cannot confirm a grading case from what we have.

OP-13 Carrying On His Will tops out at Luffy (118) at $14.68 in our catalog. Nothing at that price level clears a grading fee. The set marks the transition to 177 cards per release, but the chase value did not grow with the card count.

The World's Strongest Warriors OP-17 August 28, 2026 173

OP-14 The Azure Sea's Seven at 211 cards is the first set where the SP tier clearly tops the set's value ladder. Roronoa Zoro (PRB02-006 SP) is at $900.12 in our catalog; Ground Death (alt art, OP14-096) is at $131.11. Zoro SP is the clearest grading candidate in the 2026 run to date.

OP-15 Adventure on Kami's Island continues the 200-card structure. Sabo (PRB02-014 SP) runs $203.59 and Luffy (OP15-098 alt art) is at $83.06. Sabo SP is a judgment call: the price supports a submission if the four sub-grades hold, but there is less margin than Zoro SP offers.

OP-16 The Time of Battle released June 12, 2026, introducing the Treasure Rare, a new rarity tier with Vista as the first card printed at that level. No card pages exist in our catalog for this set yet. See our OP-16 chase card guide for the full breakdown.

OP-17 The World's Strongest Warriors released August 28, 2026. No published card pages in our catalog. The set's five Emperor Leaders in five colors and a second Treasure Rare are the confirmed chase structure. Full coverage is in our OP-17 guide.

Which Sets to Grade and Which to Skip

Grade first: OP-05 and OP-09 are the blue chips. Luffy 119 Manga (OP-05) at $5,700 and Roger Manga (OP-09) at $5,500 are the two highest values in the game by a wide margin, and graded populations on both are still small relative to demand. If you own one, scan it immediately with ZeroPop. The One Piece grading guide covers exactly how centering and surface risk play out on manga-panel cards.

Next tier: OP-02 Ace Manga at $2,200, OP-09 Shanks Manga at $1,795, and OP-10 Law Manga at $707 all clear a grading fee with room. OP-14 Zoro SP at $900 is the current SP grading standout.

Skip entirely for grading: OP-03, OP-04, OP-07, OP-08, and OP-13. Nothing in our catalog from those sets reaches $100. The submission fee eats any potential margin before it forms. The one exception to investigate: a Manga Rare or high-grade Parallel from these sets that has not yet been scanned and cataloged. Confirm the raw price before you commit.

Judgment calls: OP-01 Nami at $219, OP-06 Perona at $54, OP-11 Shanks SP at $197. Each needs a strong scan before submission, and the is my card worth grading calculator will tell you whether the math works at current prices.

OP-12 needs more data in our catalog before we can say either way.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many One Piece Card Game English booster sets are there?

Seventeen main booster sets as of September 18, 2026, running from OP-01 Romance Dawn (December 2, 2022) through OP-17 The World's Strongest Warriors (August 28, 2026). Bandai also publishes Extra Boosters, Starter Decks, and Premium Boosters as separate products, but the OP-XX main line is the standard collector reference.

How often does One Piece Card Game release a new English booster set?

Roughly once per quarter. The gap between consecutive English releases has ranged from about 10 to 16 weeks. The Japanese set releases first; the English version follows three to four months later.

Which One Piece set has the most valuable cards?

OP-05 Awakening of the New Era and OP-09 Emperors in the New World are the top two by catalog value as of September 18, 2026. Luffy 119 Manga from OP-05 is at $5,700 and Roger Manga from OP-09 is at $5,500. Both are Manga Rares, a rarity tier that first appeared in OP-05.

What is a Manga Rare in One Piece Card Game?

A Manga Rare is a card illustrated in a manga panel style rather than standard card art, depicting a key story moment. Each set that carries them ships two or three at most. Every catalog price above $1,000 in OPCG grading belongs to a Manga Rare. They grade harder than standard SECs because the panel surface shows print lines that full-color art masks.

What is an SP card in One Piece TCG?

SP (Special) cards are low-frequency inserts in sets from OP-11 onward. They are existing cards from the Premium Booster pool reprinted in a special finish and packed alongside the standard set. Their set codes reflect the original source product, which is why a card in an OP-11 pack might carry an ST-16 or ST-18 code. SP cards have become the primary grading target in recent sets where no dominant Manga Rare exists.

Is One Piece Card Game worth grading?

Yes, for specific cards in the right eras. OP-05 and OP-09 Manga Rares, OP-02 Ace Manga, and the top SP pulls in OP-14 and OP-11 all clear a grading fee with margin if the grade lands. The middle sets (OP-03, OP-04, OP-07, OP-08, OP-13) do not produce confirmed prices that justify a submission at current catalog values. Scan the card through ZeroPop first: the four sub-grades will flag whether the centering and surface hold before you commit.
